The centennial anniversary volume is not only a treasure to those whose ancestors were part of this oldest of CRCs in Grand Rapids but to those with an interest in (CRC) history. Being the "(gr-)mother church of Grand Rapids and immediate surroundings, the book offers a birds-eye view of a number of these (gr-)daughter congregations and of those who served it as pastors. In addition to numerous rare images of hundred or more years ago (with the names of those in group photos), the book features lists of office bearers of the anniversary years (25, 50, 75) and a thumb-nail sketch of congregational memorable happenings.
