This pictorial book with text introductions and photo captions in five languages, Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish, offers an armchair journey through The Netherlands, featuring images that detail sights of culture, architecture, customs and traditions as well as of rural farm life and city scenes. As an independent country, The Netherlands may be small when compared to North America but it represents significantly different regions with unique traditions. The book tiptoes through the country, province by province, starting with Friesland, where it was published and finishing with Limburg.
