The League of Reformed Young Women's Societies in the Netherlands asked Professor K. Schilder, as its keynote speaker for its 1951 League Day, to focus on the subject, Your Ecumenical Task. A Dutch broadcasting channel recorded the speech and aired it, at least in part, for a still wider audience. In his address, Prof. Schilder traced ecumenism from the very beginning by showing it must be true to Scripture and in obedience to God. Ecumenical love must be for Him not man. This small publication may be dated, but its relevance has hugely increased.
