The Royal Edition was limited to 1,000 sets, this set being number 808, and should not be confused with the Author's Edition and the Librarians Edition of the same series. Copyright and printing dates from 1899. Each volume measures 10.25"x7.25" (26x18.5x about 4cm). 

Richard Garnett (1853-1906) was a British librarian and author and was employed at the British Museum. 

Hardcover with cloth, USED, about 400 pages per volume, worn around some cover edges. Considering its destination, final shipping costs to be determined after sale.
